What is CROC® Basic?

CROC® Basic is a fork with a 5 mm thick polyurethane coating. The use of a special adhesive ensures that the coating adheres permanently to the forks and is suitable for numerous industrial applications.

What are the advantages of the polyurethane coating?

The coating provides more grip between the fork and the load, increases slip resistance, reduces damage to sensitive goods and dampens noise during transport.

How thick is the coating?

The polyurethane coating has a material thickness of 5 mm and also features impact edge protection.

What is the advantage of impact edge protection?

The integrated impact edge protection protects the coating at the particularly stressed fork tip from damage caused by impacts and daily use. This extends the service life of the coating and permanently preserves its anti-slip and material-friendly effect.

Is the coating durable?

Yes. The coating is permanently applied with a specially developed adhesive and is designed for continuous industrial use. It is characterised by high abrasion resistance and a long service life.

Is CROC® Basic resistant to chemicals?

Yes. The coating is resistant to oils, acids, chemicals and solvents, as well as temperature and weather resistant.

For which temperature ranges is CROC® Basic suitable?

The polyurethane coating can be used in areas from -28 °C to +80 °C.

For which applications is CROC® Basic suitable?

The coated forks are suitable for almost all applications where goods are to be transported safely, with anti-slip properties and in a material-friendly manner – for example, in logistics, production, the food industry or mechanical engineering.

Please note:

• The anti-slip properties are higher when dry than when wet.
• For maximum operating life, the CROC® coating should ideally have no friction or abrasive contact when entering the pallet.
