Recognize people and obstacles behind the forklift

The retrofittable rear view camera is mounted on the rear of your forklift cab. The camera image is displayed in real time on a 7-inch monitor in the cab. The 140° wide-angle lens provides a wide field of view of the area behind the vehicle. Depending on the positioning of the camera, the driver's blind spot can be viewed on the monitor. Thanks to the improved visibility for the driver, maneuvering becomes safer and accidents and damage are significantly reduced.
The camera has integrated person detection. This enables proactive warning of potential risks and helps the forklift driver to avoid critical situations. Various types of person detection are available, which the forklift driver can adjust individually for their application and environmental conditions.
Power and data are supplied via a cable included in the package. A calibration tool is also included in the scope of delivery, which can be used to individually adjust the camera's detection ranges and alarm settings. Comprehensive instructions are included in the scope of delivery.

Where are rear view cameras used?

LUXX RC reversing cameras with person detection are useful for use on forklift trucks in almost all industries.
This is particularly important in areas where forklifts drive backwards. The system increases work safety when picking up goods or after loading a truck.
Another advantage is improved ergonomics for the forklift driver.

Can the LUXX camera system be combined with other forklift cameras?

Other CleverForks solutions can be seamlessly combined, such as LUXX FC front end cameras. A split monitor allows multiple camera images to be displayed simultaneously for an optimal overview.
For added convenience, an automatic switchover can be set up: for example, to automatically activate the rear view camera as soon as you reverse.

How well is the LUXX camera system adapted to operational use?

The robust camera with IP68/IP69K protection is high-pressure cleaner-proof and specially optimized for use in operational logistics, for example with forklifts.
